MFVA Advisory Board
The MFVA Advisory Board, under the direction of the Executive Board, meets in early September and March to review grant requests and advise the Executive Board on disbursement of funds. The Advisory Board consists of eight members including three optometrists licensed by the State of Michigan who are not current members of the Board of Directors of the Michigan Optometric Association, the President of MFVA-Michigan Affiliate, and four members of MFVA-Michigan Affiliate who are not current officers of its Executive Board. Each Advisory Board member shall be appointed by the Executive Board for a three-year term.
