MOA Hires New Executive Vice President
Dear MOA Member:
As you may know, after 40 years of service, Bill Dansby, our current Executive Vice President, will retire from his position with the MOA after the summer convention at the end of July, 2007. While we are sad to see Bill go, I am happy to announce that after an intensive search, the MOA Board of Directors has selected a replacement for his position.
Cindy Schnetzler has been our Grassroots Optometry (GO!) Coordinator for many years, therefore is familiar with hundreds of doctors across the state, and has a good relationship with many of the members in the Michigan Legislature. This makes her a great fit for our organization, and these connections will allow her to aid in advancing our profession even further. Cindy also has experience leading other state associations and will be able to bring fresh ideas to the MOA Board and membership. We are excited to have Cindy take over the function of the MOA office this July and look forward to a productive relationship, as we have had with her these past several years already. Please welcome her aboard!
