Message from the President
As President of the Michigan Optometric Association, I will strive earnestly to implement our mission to unite all licensed optometrists and be the representative voice for the profession of optometry in Michigan. In addition I will work to advance the quality and accessibility of optometric services throughout the state and seek to ensure the recognition of optometrists as the primary providers of vision and related health. I will charge the Board of Directors along with the legislative committee to coordinate, establish and reaffirm relationships with third-party payers and key legislators which is vital if we are to be key players in health care.
