Cindy Schnetzler: Executive Director cindy@themoa.org
Cindy A. Schnetzler joined the Michigan Optometric Association on June 26, 2007. As Executive Director, she is responsible for managing the association's staff and budget, the design and content of The Michigan Optometrist publication, and building relationships between MOA members and state legislators. Before joining the MOA, Cindy served as the director of Governmental Consultant Services, Inc. affiliate Governmental Consultant Services, Inc. Association Services (GCSIAS) since 1994. At GCSIAS, she oversaw dramatic growth from three to 10 non-profit association clients, and served as the (GO!) political coordinator since its inception in 1996.
Carrie Barton: Member Services Coordinator carrie@themoa.org
Carrie joined the Michigan Optometric Association staff on January 10, 2007. Carrie manages the MOA accounting system and is available to answer questions about member services, member benefits, and processes all new memberships. She facilitates exhibitor registration and organization at MOA seminars.
Pamela Steffy: Events Coordinator pam@themoa.org
Pam joined the Michigan Optometric Association staff on January 2, 2008. As Events Coordinator, she is responsible for the winter and fall educational seminars, and the Annual Meeting. In addition, Pam’s responsibilities include managing continuing education and MOAPAC. Pam brings with her six years of association management with experience in event planning, graphic design, database management, Web site management, and PAC.
Mark Osgerby: Communications Coordinator mark@themoa.org
Mark joined the Michigan Optometric Association on September 24, 2008. As Communications Coordinator, he serves as the editor of the bi-monthly magazine, The Michigan Optometrist. In addition, Mark’s responsibilities include marketing and branding for association events, membership mailings, and maintenance of the MOA Web site.
